My Summer vacations!

Here is the month of MAY!

and what I recall is those childhood memories of fun and jolliness, which I enjoyed during Summers.

Summer has always been a special part of everyone’s childhood. No school, no bags and no Homework! Just fun-filled enjoyment with friends and family.

No bounds ( except a few), no rules. It would be an exquisite extravaganza of childhood fantasies.

But gone are those days, when I could enjoy that delicious Ice cream without bothering to spill it on my shirt. When I could play the whole day, getting dirty in the mud.

As we have grown older, the child inside our hearts has become more and more curious. It wants to explore more.

Well I don’t have any specific memories to share here, but if you have then you are welcome.

Chill out this Summer 😉

Too much thinking!

What am I today?

Who will I become tomorrow?

Does these questions bother you a lot?  You are busy thinking all the time what you are going to be in future, and often end up being depressed by the harsh realities of life.

Sitting numb one day, I was lost in the dreams of my own, probably shaping up my future plans. ” When I get into that job I’ll buy a home”, “I would propose that girl I liked from the first day of college”, “I would lead a luxurious life 20 years from now and blah blah.

Lost too much in these unreal events, I wasted my time and missed an opportunity to be happy! Yes! I wasn’t happy thinking of all that.

Now you would think how stupid this person is and there you may be a touch right. While thinking of such pleasant future plans who wouldn’t be happy?

But as soon as you think good, negative thoughts corrode your happiness.

“How will I get that job?”

“Will she say yes to me?”

“What if I cannot make these dreams come true?”

and you get  depressed……for eternity!

But if you be positive and do what the present situation demands, I bet you will ever come across the word dee-press-shun.

Just be happy with what you have. Be content and hopeful.

Hard work is the gateway to a long tunnel. It looks dark from inside but at the other end, there is that slender yet bright ray of success.

Keep Working without Thinking too much about the outcome, for what is going to be the result is not in your hands, what lies in your hands is the hard work.

Cheers from,

KirtiKumar- A depresses guy trying to come out of dee-press-shun.

Life’s Answer: A poem

LIFE’S ANSWERsailing-the-sea-of-life
I asked life to answer a query,
When will be the end of my life’s misery?
I asked life why i am feeling so bad,
All what is happening is making me mad.
I asked life to answer my plea,
Why are you being so harsh on me?
Life smiled and said the answer is within you,
Don’t think too much and get over with the blues.

The rising ‘interference’ of the Digital World

Hello readers,

Yes, I am finally back on this website, writing enthralling stuff for your brains.

While thinking of new ideas for the post, I came across a news article that stated ‘ Facebook will affect 160 constituencies in 2014 polls’. and realized how our digital copies on the internet can really alter the scenarios in the physical ( real in true sense) world??

Since the advent of internet, more precisely ‘the social media’, our lives have been cut into two halves. We all have our digital ‘clones’ on different websites which nowadays call themselves ‘Media‘.

The real meaning of the term media is ‘ the bridge between the people and the government’ . But for the past decade the interference of digital world has grown exponentially into the field of what we know as Mass Communication. Within seconds a news can be spread ( and so can be rumours) across all the people around the globe.

We all are readily accepting the increasing popularity of social networking and the physical world ceased to exist any more. The right wingers had been dominant ( in India especially) on these networks trying to ‘influence’ the youth. Now what we see is the acceptance of this technology by the Government as well. Every Speech of the President of India, prime Minister of India is uploaded on Facebook pages. The social network has entered governance too.

To conclude this post, I would like to remind you that this platform for communication is relatively new and is ever evolving into a stronger shape. So whatever the study says about the influence of social media on votes looks little exaggerated ( same as the Rs. 26 figure). Meanwhile keep posting your ideas and opinions but do remember there are friends ( and followers) in real life too.

Hope you enjoyed the read.

Till we meet in the next post. Jai Hind.
