“Believe and act as if it were impossible to fail.” – Charles Kettering (American Engineer and inventor)

This quote is not so long but has a deep meaning hidden within these few words of wisdom. Believe is such a word which boosts the morale of a fighter, motivates a player, rejuvenates a child and apparently adds positivity to our ever so negative environment.

Commentators in sports usually keep on uttering on their Microphones, that if a player does not perform well, there is nothing wrong in his technique but a lack of Belief in his ways of trying to excel.

Self-Belief has been kept over everything in life. If you believe in yourself and try to do something, it may not happenn the first time you try. Perhaps you have to try again and again. But if you believe then the task will be completed , no matter how big or demanding the situation is around you.

Lance Armstrong, the great cyclist and many time champion of Tour de France, was once struggling against a ferocious cancer ailment. But he BELIEVED that he would win against it and he did beat the challenge of his life. Yuvraj Singhis another prime example before us.

Believing is the first necessity for success. In the pursuit of quick success, one might fail on numerous occasions but at last the one who believes in himself, his partners or his team will be triumphant.

Every success begins with a failure. But if you believe that its impossible to fail then you will try again and eventually taste the sweetness of success.

The future belongs to those who believe in the beauty of their dreams.
-Eleanor Roosevelt, Former first lady of USA

Aamir Khan believes in his show “SatyaMev Jayate”. Amitabh Bachchan believes in his acting. MS Dhoni believes in aggression. These are some successful people who believe in what they do. They also failed several times in life but found another way every time to do the same thing .

We believe in our government and politicians( don’t we?) at the time of elections. But all the belief is just a mere eyewash.  The belie in democracy is also dying out due to some enraged and disturbed young ‘minds’ on social media which is a potential threat to our country’s Integrity (I believe this!).

But we all must believe in the power of democracy as our ancestors did and yes that magic wand or miracle would not happen. We have to raise our belief in what we called the system “for the people, of the people and by the people”. If we do respond in a sensible and mature way, we might move towards a better era of living for ourselves and the upcoming generations.

The Child’s out of the Box!

Coming out with an Idea needs no extra brains!

Idiot!’, he said. ‘You are not worth Anything ‘, he added.

This was the teacher scolding, Albert , a stupid looking boy, with hidden capabilities. He was reading fantasy children’s book in class.

‘What make you think so much, Albert’, said a friend. ‘What if we moved along a Telegraph wire with that speed?’ said Albert. Everyone was laughing at him.’ You are nuts!, Albert’.

10 years of aggressive thinking, made him formulate the theory of special relativity. This Albert was no one but the legend of physics Albert Einstein.

Three year old Einstein.( Wikipedia)

You would think he had some Extraordinary brain power to get those theories and formulae. Well he may have an extraordinary brain. but he had the child within him asking some intriguing questions.

The story above is partly fiction. But gives us a message.

As we grow up we avoid some childish behaviours and try to look more of  a mature adult by making arguments and logical reasoning on almost everything! But that child within us is the only creative part of our minds.

It’s not necessary to excel in the toughest exams or to solve mystically typical problems. What is necessary is to bring that child out in the open to explore and endorse the creativity of the nature.

Because if Einstein or Newton had not broken loose the child within them you would have been reading this article inscribed on the stone walls of a street in a Medieval age like city!

Let the child come out of the box!
